Violent
March 25th, 2015
Dir. Andrew Huculiak | 102 mins | 2014 | Canada, Norway | Norwegian, English
Our First Canadian film of the Spring is VIOLENT – a Canada-Norway co-production, written and directed by Andrew Huculiak. A young woman, and her last memories of five people who loved her most, recalled while experiencing a catastrophic event. This is a very different type of film experience, with somewhat of an art-house sensibility. Violent is unlike any other coming of age story in that it works as both a story of self discovery and of self reflection at the same time. A fantastic achievement that is not to be missed.
